Choose from 2-, 4-, and 6-seat side-by-side categories for couples, families and groups. Drivers must be 18+ (16–17 only with a parent or guardian present, watching, and signing); the premium RZR Turbo R 4, Ranger Northstar XP4, Talon 1000X-4 and Teryx KRX 1000 need a driver 21+. Passengers can be any age.

ATVs — Four Sizes, One Rider Each
From 50cc youth ATVs to adult machines. Every ATV carries one rider, and each size has a maximum rider weight: Small 100 lb, Medium 160 lb, Big 250 lb (the Polaris Phoenix 200 is capped at 215 lb) and XL 450 lb. Minimum ages are 4+ for Small, 10+ for Medium, 14+ for Big and 21+ for XL. The booking form asks for each rider’s weight. Over the limit? Choose a larger ATV or upgrade to a UTV. Kids too young to drive can ride as passengers in a UTV with an adult driver, and the train carts are a group add-on behind a UTV rental.
Go Karts
Go Karts — 2 & 4 Seaters
Three two-seat go-kart sizes plus a four-seat dune buggy, for kids, teens and adults. A go-kart’s weight limit is the combined weight of everyone riding in it, and the booking form asks for that total: 200 lb in the Medium, 350 lb in the Big and the dune buggy, and 500 lb in the XL. Medium go-kart drivers must be 7–13 and at least 4 ft (48 in) tall, sit back in the seat with the belt fitted and fully reach the pedals and controls — no cushions or boosters. Big go-kart, XL go-kart and dune buggy riders must be 14+ and at least 5 ft tall. Over a limit? Step up to the XL go-kart, split into separate vehicles or upgrade to a UTV.

You don't need to rent to enjoy 281 CC. Purchase the appropriate Access Pass and bring your own ATV, UTV, dirt bike, Jeep, or 4x4 truck. Mud pits and water crossings are for guests using their own vehicles, not rental vehicles.

Rental Questions
What are the weight limits?
ATVs carry one rider each: the Small ATV takes riders up to 100 lb, the Medium up to 160 lb, the Big up to 250 lb (the Polaris Phoenix 200 is capped at 215 lb), and the XL up to 450 lb. Go-kart limits are the combined weight of everyone in the kart: up to 200 lb in the Medium go-kart, up to 350 lb in the Big go-kart or the 4-seat dune buggy, and up to 500 lb in the XL go-kart. The booking form asks for each ATV rider's weight, and for go-karts the combined weight of everyone riding. If you're over a limit, choose a larger vehicle, split into separate vehicles, or upgrade to a UTV.
Do I have to sign the waiver again when I arrive?
No. The FareHarbor waiver you sign when you book is the one we need — there's no second waiver at arrival.
What ID does the driver need?
A valid government-issued photo ID or a valid driver's license — a driver's license specifically isn't required. Drivers under 18 follow the age rules for their vehicle, and their parent or legal guardian signs for them.
Can a 16- or 17-year-old drive a UTV without a parent there?
No. A 16- or 17-year-old can drive a rental UTV only when a parent or legal guardian is on site, watching, and signs for them — permission from home isn't enough. Drivers 18 and older can drive on their own.
How do I confirm or change my reservation?
Call or text (210) 560-1116 with the name on the reservation and your confirmation number if you have it. The team checks the actual booking before answering. Changes and reschedules depend on availability, and your new time is set once the booking is updated.
What happens if my rental breaks down during my ride?
Stop somewhere safe, shut the vehicle off, and call or text (210) 560-1116 — don't keep driving it or try to fix it unless staff tells you to. If it wasn't your fault, we'll get you a replacement vehicle or replacement ride time, and if we can't, we'll refund or credit the time you didn't get to use.
Do you rent dirt bikes or motorcycles?
No. The rental fleet is ATVs, UTVs (side-by-sides) and go-karts — no dirt bikes, mini bikes, pit bikes or other two-wheel motorcycles. You're welcome to bring your own with an Access Pass, and helmets are required on personally owned bikes.
When do I get my security deposit hold back?
The hold is scheduled for release the day after your rental at 11 PM. Banks often take longer to post it, so check with your bank first if you don't see it yet. The amount depends on the vehicle category and is set when you book.
Do you offer a military discount?
Military groups get 10% off a group booking of the pavilion, the water pier, or vehicle rentals. It isn't automatically combined with other offers, and two-hour rentals already cost less than two separate hours.
